Review: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Synopsis:

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court–but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms–and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future–and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Favorite Lines:

“The issue isn’t whether he loved you, it’s how much. Too much. Love can be a poison.”

“To the stars who listen—and the dreams that are answered.”

“And I wondered if love was too weak a word for what he felt, what he’d done for me. For what I felt for him.”

“Many atrocities, have been done in the name of the greater good.”

My Opinion:

My only opinion of this book is that it is my favorite book in the whole world.

Summary:

There is actually so much I could say about this book but it would be way too long and probably make little to no sense because it would just be me fangirling. I will say that I relate to Feyre from beginning to end. Her character development is extreme and important in this story and I found bits and pieces of myself in her as she continued to change and grow. Overall, this book is a must read. That is all.

  1. I’ve only read one book by Maas which is Catwoman: Soulstealer and I loved it with all my heart! I’m now looking forward to reading this series and I hope I’ll fall in love with it too!
